Sludge Dewatering
General Summary
Sludge is generally contains water in a high enough proportion for thickening or dewatering to be beneficial for further treatment or to reduce handling costs. The installation of a mechanical sludge thickening or dewatering plant enables up to a 97% reduction in waste volumes. The final cake produced can be reused, composted or sent to landfill.
